Rob practiced the first inner sense by observing the backs of objects and imagining walking; Seth affirmed this and recommended regular practice.

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
First distinguish spatial imagery from obtaining unknown information about an object's back. Randomly assign approximately 200 participants to perspective-taking and imagined-walking training or an expectancy-matched control training for four weeks. Assess spatial transformation ability for previously seen objects before and after training, and include a four-alternative forced-choice task using previously unseen, computer-generated random patterns on the backs of objects, with approximately 200 trials per participant. Both experimenters and scorers must be unaware of the correct answers. Model the data at the participant level and retest after one month; the original case can only undergo separate archival verification.
Suggested paper title
Mental Imagery Training, Spatial Perspective Taking, and Identification of Occluded Random Targets
What it would overturn
Improved spatial imagery would not overturn mainstream models. Only identification of previously unseen random information on the backs of objects after sensory cues have been excluded would challenge the assumption that visual representations depend on sensory input and prior knowledge.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
The practice activities are relatively specific, but no accuracy rate or verifiable outcome is specified. If the “first inner sense” refers only to imagination, it lacks predictions distinguishable from existing imagery concepts.
Note
“Imagining oneself seeing the back” and “correctly reporting an unknown back” must be scored separately. This search found no peer-reviewed literature directly testing this practice in Rob's case.
