Adjudicating experiment
Criteria for “independence,” “return,” and identification of the same entity must first be specified; otherwise, no sample size can adjudicate the claim. An initial study of self-state transitions could involve approximately 150 participants, using neutral and suggestion-based inductions, state-specific learning, cross-state memory tests, and EEG, with three visits over one month and a project duration of 9–12 months. Compare whether information segregation and integration across states exceed what expectancy, attention, and memory models can explain. This tests only the organization of personality states, not the personality’s return after death.
