Research Program / Claims / conscious-self-1

The conscious self is not an independent entity but acts as a 'core' of conscious energy aggregates, attracting usable energy patterns according to its intensity, thereby establishing its own role.

意识自我并非独立实体,而是作为意识能量聚合体的“核心”,按其强度吸引可用能量模式,从而确立自身角色。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
Only proxy hypotheses can be tested first: using resting-state fMRI, personality, and self-concept scale data from about 3,000 participants, pre-register distinct predictions for default mode network amplitude, node centrality, and cross-network participation coefficients; retain an independent validation set and retest about 300 participants at 6 months over roughly 18 months. It must be specified in advance which index corresponds to core intensity, the predicted direction, and the minimum effect size; even if correlations hold, the energy-attraction mechanism cannot be adjudicated.
Suggested paper title
Default-Mode Network Centrality and Self-Concept Stability: A Pre-registered Multicohort Study
What it would overturn
Merely finding correlations between brain networks and personality will not overturn mainstream hypotheses; only demonstrating that a non-neural core independently attracts physical energy would challenge the assumption that neural activity has a sufficient physical mechanism.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
There are no units, attraction rules, thresholds, or predicted directions; specificity is lower than existing network models. Directly labeling the core as the default mode network is an added interpretation.
Note
In this review, untested means that no direct test of the original claim was found in the current search, not that no one globally has studied it; listed adjacent evidence does not imply support, sample sizes are planned magnitudes requiring separate power analyses, and proposed titles do not indicate existing papers.
