Research Program / Claims / emotions-10

There is a correspondence between emotions and colors: red is the most "present" color, while cool colors are more contemplative; the electrical component of emotion appears in a certain colored aura.

情绪与颜色有对应:红色是最“当下”的颜色,冷色更具沉思性;情绪电气成分显现在某种颜色光环中。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
Supplementary question 3: approximately 600 participants from at least three cultural backgrounds undergo a red/blue/gray background × high/low arousal × positive/negative valence experiment, completed in 3–4 sessions over about 2 months; calibrate luminance and chromaticity, screen for color vision, measure sub-second temporal bisection, second-level duration estimation, sense of time passage, and vividness of the present, with pre-registered direction and sex interactions. If background light is used rather than screen colors, record spectra and control for adaptation and non-visual lighting effects. The aura sub-claim is separately tested with approximately 100 participants using repeated emotion induction, dark-chamber spectral detection, and blinded decoding, controlling for temperature, perspiration, and delayed luminescence.

Hue, Emotional Arousal, and Subjective Time: A Preregistered Cross-Cultural Experiment
What it would overturn
If a reproducible emotion-specific body emission spectrum is found, it would revise the model in which human light emission is currently explained primarily by metabolic and oxidative reactions, with no validated emotional color encoding.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
Red being the most present provides a color ordering, but it does not define a metric for presence, nor does it imply that red necessarily shortens duration; for the aura to constitute a distinctive prediction, the wavelength and intensity corresponding to each emotion must be pre-specified.
Note
Contested refers to the context-dependent results of the color–time sub-claim; the aura mechanism remains unvalidated; color associations, color-induced emotions, and actual human light emission must be studied separately.
