First restrict material construction to measurable crystal formation: 3 laboratories, about 300 participants, about 3000 independently sealed reaction units, randomly assigned to promotion, inhibition, and no directed attention conditions; participants receive expectation induction remotely; samples are coded and measured double-blind; temperature, vibration, solution conditions, and crystal nucleation are continuously recorded over about 12 months. If crystallization still occurs in the no-attention condition, this would refute the necessity of this operational version; if it is claimed that unobservable expectation underlies all matter, the experiment cannot adjudicate.
