Research Program / Claims / imagination-4
Imagination is not bound by time; it can imagine the past and future, helping bring elements of the inner implicit universe into actual experience, and combining with reasoning to attain knowledge.
想象力不受时间限制,可以想象过去与未来,帮助将内在隐含宇宙元素带入实际经验,与推理结合获得知识。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
Approximately 300 participants complete a pre-registered temporal representation experiment comparing recall of the past, simulation of the future, and evidence-based inference; a separate validation module requires submitting unalterable predictions before random targets are generated, after which an isolated server generates the targets. Each person completes about 100 trials over 4 weeks; scoring and stopping rules are fixed in advance, analyzed with participant-level hierarchical models. The two modules separately adjudicate ordinary temporal simulation ability and accuracy beyond known information; they cannot be combined into a single outcome.

Temporal Simulation and Information Accuracy: A Pre-registered Comparison of Memory, Prospection, and Prediction
What it would overturn
If one can accurately obtain information that is not yet generated and cannot be inferred, it would revise the hypothesis that "future scenario construction relies on existing information and does not access future random events."

Specificity of Seth's formulation
Imagining the past and future is a supported ordinary cognitive ability; "not bound by time" and "implicit universe elements" are undefined, and only explicit predictions about acquiring unknown information would have additional discriminability.
Note
Treating past or future as mental content does not mean the cognitive process itself transcends physical time; the original text also does not explicitly commit to precognition of random targets, so that module is a strengthened operationalization requiring prior approval.
