Physical layer: three laboratories each collect at least 100,000 colloidal particle trajectories, automatically recording work, heat, and environmental exchange, comparing total entropy production under observed and unobserved real-time conditions; duration 18 months; only repeatable deviations that exclude unaccounted resources and instrument errors can challenge thermodynamics.
