Fear sometimes sensitizes people, for example, worry about a loved one's safety can bring clairvoyance-like perception of disasters, but because one does not attend to joyful events, such information is less easily perceived.

恐惧有时会使人敏感化,例如对亲人安危的担忧可带来千里眼式灾难认知,但因不关注喜悦事件,不易感知此类信息。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
Approximately 300 pairs of close individuals complete a randomized crossover trial, totaling about 12,000 trials over 12–18 months. The two are isolated; the sender randomly presents negative, positive, or neutral material; the receiver randomly receives mild worry, positive expectation, or neutral instruction, and must report per trial with separate confidence, content, and emotion. Pre-register forced-choice accuracy, emotional interaction, and signal detection indices, with complete miss records to control selective recall; additionally include an ordinary visible stimulus task to check whether worry indeed changes general attention.

Threat Expectancy, Emotional Valence, and Blinded Remote-Target Judgments: A Pre-registered Dyadic Study
What it would overturn
If worry reliably improves recognition of remote events under no conventional communication conditions, this would revise the hypothesis that “threat vigilance can only modulate sampling and judgment of available information, not create missing information.”

Specificity of Seth's formulation
Predicts an advantage for worry with negative events, more specific than a vague sensitivity; however, attentional bias, memory bias, and criterion shifts also predict more disaster reports, so objective hit rates must distinguish these.
Note
No reliable study directly testing “worry about a loved one leading to remote disaster cognition” was found in the search; emotional pictures in experiments only test an operationalized version, not equivalent to real disasters, and genuine danger cannot be created for experiments.
