Research Program / Claims / outer-senses-2

After physical death, the outer senses continue in encoded form and, together with encoded memory, can replay any experienced sensory data.

肉体死亡后,外感官以编码形式继续存在,并配合编码记忆可重放任何已体验的感觉数据。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
The original claim must first specify the carrier and readout channel for encoding after irreversible death; currently there is no mature paradigm that can directly adjudicate it. Two studies could be undertaken: (1) 80–120 healthy adults complete multisensory learning, sleep-directed memory reactivation, and wakeful control, with EEG and fMRI cross-decoding to detect recurrence of sensory representations, 3–4 sessions per person, over 18 months; (2) a multicenter study of about 2000–5000 cases of naturally occurring cardiac arrest, with continuous recording of EEG, cerebral oxygenation, and stimulus timestamps, and blind memory testing of survivors, over 3–5 years; conclusions would be limited to resuscitation processes.

Multisensory Memory Reinstatement During Targeted Reactivation in Human Sleep
What it would overturn
If personal sensory memory could still be read from an independent carrier after irreversible death, that would revise the hypothesis that the preservation and retrieval of personal episodic memory depend on a persisting neural information carrier.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
The claim of continued existence after death and replay of any experienced data is much stronger than ordinary memory reactivation, but it specifies no fidelity, forgetting rate, or readout mechanism.
Note
In issue 3, memory replay, reactivation, and reconsolidation are not synonyms; sleep deprivation or in vivo optogenetic results cannot be extrapolated to irreversible death. For relevant clinical research directions, see [Parnia Lab](https://med.nyu.edu/research/parnia-lab/).
