Convert the claimed methodological superiority into a predictive-validity comparison: 300 practitioners and matched novices each provide predictions on the same target set using, respectively, no-instrument judgment, instrument measurement, and the combination of both, with 100 targets per person; independently held target states serve as ground truth; scoring is frozen and blind-reviewed, with a cross-laboratory validation set retained; about 12–18 months; if it is claimed that ground truth can never be verified by public methods, this methodology cannot be scientifically adjudicated.

What it would overturn
If introspection can reliably acquire target information that no available instrument or known sensory channel can provide, it would modify the assumption that reliable identification of external facts depends on calibratable information-acquisition channels.

It does not specify for which objects, under which conditions, or with which error bounds inner senses are superior to instruments, nor does it provide an independent calibration procedure, making it less specific than existing measurement theories.
Note
Introspection can provide experiential data, but 'the experience genuinely occurs' and 'the experience accurately describes the external world' must be evaluated separately; null results in similar tasks cannot logically negate all possible introspective methods.
