Adjudicating experiment
The full proposition cannot be adjudicated by a single study; it should be decomposed: ① Approximately 500 people keep timestamped dream diaries for 180 consecutive days; reports are sealed before random targets are generated, using pre-registered blind rating and semantic scoring, over 18–24 months, testing only the information link between dreams and future targets; ② 30–50 hospitals prospectively enroll about 3,000–5,000 cardiac arrest cases, recording resuscitation EEG, cerebral oxygenation, and timestamped hidden audiovisual targets, over 3–5 years, with effective sample size assessed by the number exposed to actual targets completing interviews; ③ Approximately 200 children claiming past-life memories have statements sealed before any family contact, verified by blind investigators, with region-matched controls and information-leak audits, over 3–5 years. Specificity of Seth's formulation
It strings dream-generated worlds, pre-birth existence, post-death continuation, and transcendence of space-time into one narrative, but gives no quantitative relationships among the parts; even if existing component studies were positive, they could not uniquely identify this entire explanatory package.

'Pre-birth' could merely refer to the fetal period, which does not necessarily challenge brain-dependence models; the crucial issue is whether it claims a pre-existing personality independent of the fetal brain, and cardiac arrest must be distinguished from irreversible death.
