About 200 participants each described 20 unfamiliar objects over a period of approximately 6 months; all reports were locked before the target was revealed. Names, dates, and numbers used pre-specified tolerance thresholds, and descriptive statements were rated by reviewers unaware of the target; simultaneously, the actual owner was matched against baseline-matched distractor owners. The primary endpoint was the four-alternative forced-choice matching rate for the entire report; secondary endpoints included the precision, coverage, and error rates of all verifiable details; unverifiable content was retained separately and could not count as a hit.

What it would overturn
Only if precise details exceed the pre-registered chance model in independent replication would the hypothesis that 'the report is conditionally independent of hidden owner data once ordinary information channels are excluded' be challenged.
