The genetic system exchanges with environmental, political, economic, and other cultural events and prepares for future contingencies, which conflicts with the evolutionary theory of the time based on natural selection and random mutation.

遗传系统与环境、政治、经济等文化事件进行交换,并对未来偶发事件有所准备,这与当时以自然选择与随机突变解释的进化论相冲突。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
Test separately: the environmental-response component can use birth cohorts such as ALSPAC with about 3,000–10,000 individuals’ repeated methylation, genotype, and social-exposure data, analyzing 5–20 years of follow-up, project duration about 2–3 years, controlling for cell composition, genetic background, smoking, and socioeconomic confounding. The future-preparation component should randomly assign mild experimental conditions only after sample collection, assays, and predictions are locked, with about 1,000 participants, two centers, 12–18 months, testing whether baseline molecular features can predict future random assignments; even if positive, one must further demonstrate corresponding functional benefits.

DNA Methylation Responses to Social Adversity and Prediction of Subsequently Randomized Exposures
What it would overturn
Only if, after excluding existing cues, gene regulation is shown to pre-adapt specifically to future independent random events would this challenge the assumption that adaptive preparation arises from past selection and current or historical environmental information.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
The weak version that “social environment affects gene regulation” already has some support; the strong version of “preparing for future contingencies” gives no events, time windows, or molecular targets and has not been directly validated.
Note
Supplemental question 4 can be mapped onto stress epigenetics, but “random mutation” does not mean equal probability across sites, environmental response does not automatically negate natural selection, and blood methylation associations cannot directly establish adaptiveness, causality, or transgenerational inheritance.
