Research Program / Claims / sleep-4
The dream world is closer to the inner basic reality than the waking world, because the inner senses are obscured during wakefulness.
梦世界比醒时世界更接近内在基本实相,因为内感官在醒时受到遮蔽。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
'Closer to basic reality' lacks an independent truth criterion and cannot be directly adjudicated at present. If explicitly limited to 'more accurate judgments about unexposed facts', approximately 150 adults could be recruited, each completing 10 post-dream judgments and paired waking judgments, with targets randomly generated and hidden throughout, fixed candidate sets, and blinded scoring, over about 12 months; this experiment only measures information accuracy, not ontological degree of reality.

A Preregistered Comparison of Dream-Based and Waking Judgments About Unobserved Targets
What it would overturn
If dreams stably provide hidden factual information beyond waking states, this would revise the model that 'the factual content of dreams comes from existing memories, inferences, and accessible sensory input'.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
No channel, resolution, or error pattern for 'inner senses' is given, nor an independently determinable reality criterion; currently no distinguishable prediction can be made.
Note
The realism, vividness, or conviction of dreams are measurable psychological variables, but cannot serve as evidence that dream content is more real; one cannot make the ontological claim testable merely by substituting neuroscience terminology.
