Adjudicating experiment
Approximately 240 bilingual participants undergo cross-manipulation of test language, articulatory suppression, and non-verbal interference, using time reproduction, bisection, and temporal order tasks with EEG recording; each participant is tested three times at one-week intervals, over a project duration of 6–9 months. Pre-registered comparisons are made of language-specific effects, general working memory effects, and neural timing models, distinguishing explanations via cross-linguistic and non-verbal transfer. The experiment can only adjudicate mechanisms of time representation; it cannot prove that physical reality is camouflage.
