Adjudicating experiment

Approximately 120 participants, including 60 with automatic writing experience and 60 matched controls, cross-compare ordinary writing, automatic-writing suggestions without a personality framework, and a protective role framework; 4 visits over 4 weeks, total period 12 months. Measures include worry, sense of agency, and an intuition judgment task with objective answers. Supplemental Question 4 uses a graphics tablet to record pen pressure, speed, stroke length, letter height, and the slope of size reduction over time, matched for text, posture, writing duration, and fatigue, with a deliberate imitation condition; tests whether the role framework improves accuracy by reducing worry.

If, after controlling for expectations, the role framework still improves objective performance by reducing worry, it would revise the assumption that personality attribution only changes subjective reports and has no incremental functional role.
