This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
Pre-register approximately 300 beginners, randomly assigned to automatic writing suggestions, free writing, or expectancy-matched neutral writing, with 100 participants per group. All participants complete three 20-minute practice sessions. During sessions two and three, record participants' predictions of how easily automatic writing comes to them, then arrange six additional practice sessions and retest in week six. Test “sufficient to determine” using the predictive validity of early judgments for subsequent stable feelings of involuntariness, sustained writing, and blindly rated quality. Lock success criteria in advance and report subjective experience and objective performance separately; the two must not be collectively termed objective automaticity.
Suggested paper title
Can Three Twenty-Minute Sessions Predict Responsiveness to Suggested Automatic Writing? A Preregistered Randomized Trial
What it would overturn
This would not overturn established theory but would establish a specific screening rule under which three brief assessment sessions suffice to predict subsequent responsiveness to automatic writing.
Candidate labs / funders
Quinton Deeley;伦敦国王学院 Cultural and Social Neuroscience Research Group
Specificity of Seth's formulation
Relatively high: the number and duration of sessions are explicit, but “easy” has no threshold. The success rate of early induction must first be distinguished from the accuracy of judgments about long-term suitability.
Note
Finding only that the success rate after three practice sessions exceeds that of free writing would not establish that participants accurately know whether automatic writing comes easily to them. Subsequent retesting is necessary as a criterion for predictive validity.
