Adjudicating experiment
Approximately 800 participants are assigned to a 2×2 design crossing attention-focus training versus active control, and behavior-can-affect-outcome versus outcome-generated-by-isolated-random-device; each person performs 200 tasks over 12–18 months. Reports about future outcomes are locked first, then the opportunity to change the outcome is randomly provided or withheld; both the pre-operation potential outcome and post-operation actual outcome are recorded. Separately, using pre-assigned intentional targets, the ability to alter the distribution of random outcomes without a physical channel is tested, with prediction accuracy, ordinary behavioral intervention, and anomalous outcome shift as three independent endpoints.

What it would overturn
Only if outcomes can be changed without a physical action channel would it challenge the assumption that the influence of attention and intention on external events must be mediated by behavior or other physical interactions.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
It simultaneously proposes discovering the future and participating in forming it, but does not explain how the two are distinguished; if inaccurate predictions are also explained as having changed the future, the claim loses falsifiability.
Note
Anxiety leading to locking a door and expectancy changing behavior are ordinary causal processes; it must be clarified whether 'constructing events' additionally posits an effect without a physical channel.
