Adjudicating experiment
If the inner senses are taken to mean information acquisition without conventional channels, conduct a multicenter registered report: approximately 2000 independent participants, each undergoing one four-alternative forced-choice hidden-target trial, randomly assigned to either inner-vision training or an expectancy-matched relaxation condition; target generation, presentation, recording, and scoring are separated, leakage is audited, and all trials and exclusion criteria are locked, over approximately 18–24 months. Pre-register the joint criterion of performance against the 25% chance level and between-group differences; if successful, independent replication is required. This design tests a specific information-acquisition ability, but does not directly test the claim that science necessarily enters a dead end.

What it would overturn
If strictly excluding leakage, hidden information acquisition is still independently replicated, this would revise the hypothesis that such target identification can only use conventional senses, existing knowledge, and chance factors.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
No specific sensory modality, shielding conditions, or hit rates are specified; existing Ganzfeld hypotheses are more specific than this statement, and 'must use' also requires demonstrating that no other method can achieve the same result.
