Research Program / Claims / perception-1

Human perception has no impenetrable veil; the only obstruction is the veil of ignorance lowered by the physical ego.

人类感知没有不可穿透的帷幕,唯一的阻碍是由物质自我拉下的无知之幕。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
The "veil of ignorance" in the original sentence has no operational definition and cannot be adjudicated as a whole; a testable version can be pre-registered: 300 adults randomly assigned to 8 weeks of attention training, perceptual training, or matched active control, with pre- and post-training measurement of visual and auditory thresholds, plus a completely isolated four-alternative forced-choice task with hidden targets, at least 400 trials per person, the entire project about 12 months; ordinary threshold improvements only indicate plasticity; only cross-center replicated hidden-target identification after excluding information leakage would constitute evidence for transcending existing sensory channels.
Suggested paper title
Perceptual Training and Information Access Under Sensory Occlusion: A Pre-registered Randomized Trial
What it would overturn
If hidden targets can be identified after excluding known informational channels, this would revise the assumption that target information must enter the perceptual system through physical channels capable of transmitting information.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
No specification is given of which information can be obtained, distance limits, training dosage, or minimum accuracy; it is less specific than signal detection theory; failure conditions must be additionally defined to produce a distinguishable prediction.
Note
This review judges based on the user's formulation; untested indicates that no direct test was found in this search rather than proof that no one has studied it; related papers do not imply support for the original claim; the listed sample sizes are planned magnitudes requiring power simulation confirmation; who merely indicates a research direction with some similarity, not endorsement of the original claim; institutional basis see [research group](https://userpage.fu-berlin.de/rmcichy/) and [researcher introduction](https://noetic.org/event/evidence-and-encounters/).
