Research Program / Claims / telepathy-12
Science presupposes a 'dual self' hypothesis, dividing the acting self from the dreaming/breathing self; this hypothesis itself is erroneous.

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
Separately test the historical claim about science and the physiological hypothesis. First, conduct double-blind coding of approximately 500 modern papers on consciousness, autonomic regulation, and dream research, along with textbook passages, to determine whether they explicitly presuppose two independent agents, over 6 months. Then, with about 150 participants, perform repeated measures across waking voluntary actions, respiratory regulation, and sleep states, recording EEG, respiration, and ECG, over 12–18 months. Compare the predictive performance of a mutual coupling model against a preregistered strict independence model on held-out data. The results can only evaluate specific functional models and cannot establish a metaphysical unitary self.
Suggested paper title
Coupling of Volitional Action, Autonomic Regulation, and Sleep-State Dynamics: A Pre-registered Model Comparison
What it would overturn
Modern mainstream science does not hold a unified 'two independent selves' hypothesis; if cross-process coupling is observed, it would only exclude specific strict functional independence models.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
The opposition to splitting the person into two agents is compatible with many modern integrative models, but it offers no quantitative predictions beyond these models and does not entail telepathy.
Note
'contradicted' refers to the factual generalization that modern science broadly presupposes a dual self; it does not deny the integration of mind-body processes. The literature author Anil K. Seth is not the same entity as Seth in the Seth material.
